POST /eth/v1/beacon/blocks

Publish a signed block.

Gives the beacon node the command to send out a freshly signed beacon block so that it can be added to the beacon chain via the beacon network.

If the response is 20x, it means that the block was successfully broadcast across the network and passed gossip validation. In order to help with quick block delivery, the beacon node may broadcast the block before integrating it into state, even though doing so is also expected.

A different success response code (202) is used to indicate that the block was successfully broadcast but failed integration in the event that the block fails full validation. This also tells the beacon node to broadcast all signed blobs that are provided, following Deneb.

Example Request and Result for /eth/v1/beacon/blocks

In this section, we provide an illustrative example of a request made to retrieve details contents using the /eth/v1/beacon/blocks endpoint. Additionally, we present the resulting response containing information about publishing a signed block.

Parameters

The example in this section uses a non-existing project id.

Make sure you replace it with your Ethereum Holesky Beacon endpoint when issuing the API calls.
